Make a list
Everyone says it, but with so much available to you it will help.
Use what you have
Look around the house and try to find recipes that include ingredients you already own. This will help you from buying things you don’t need and/or may already have, know your pantry (and fridge and freezer).
Plan your weekly meals
It might sound cliche, but if you know what you’ll eat, you’ll know what you need.
Set a budget for food
Try to get the most you can out of everything, you’ll be surprised! Watch how often you eat out and carry in, this all adds up and may even be harmful to your nutrition.
Make your own meals
This also means controlling your portions. Try using smaller plates.
Dining out?
Look at the appetizers and starters on the left side of the menu, there’s probably plenty of nutrition in the smaller dishes.Ordering appetizers as your meal is also a win for your wallet, these items are usually less expensive and just as filling (We tend to over-serve in portion size).
